The main risk for Buyer is to indicate an incorrect wallet ID. For example, if the provided address misses at least one symbol or has an extra one, the Buyer will not have an access to the sent crypto.
The same result will be obtained if Buyer indicates a wallet that does not belong to the blockchain in which Seller conducts transfer. For example, the Buyer provided ETH wallet for BTC transfer or ERC20 compatible wallet for USDT transfer from the Tron network (TRС20 standard).
To avoid the described issues, counterparts have to communicate with each other to agree on the details of the deal before it is established. In particular, the exact blockchain has to be clearly stated by the Buyer in the P2P chat before the Seller initiates a crypto assets transfer.
